About the Band
The Music City Dixieland Band was originally founded by Bill Byrd, clarinetist with the Nashville Community Concert Band. His love for Dixieland music was contagious, as it took little time to enlist six other members, also members of the Concert band. This original group was together approximately one year before Bill started to experience health problems. Two years later, Michelle Cuccia called the band back together and weve been together ever since. That was in March of 1999.
